(How to Kill Vampires)

오늘은 지난 시간에 이어 계속해서 뱀파이어에 관한 이야기를 해 보려고 해요. 뱀파이어는 매력적이고 멋진 존재임은 분명하지만 치명적으로 위험한 존재이기도 하죠. 그렇다면 뱀파이어가 실존한다는 가정 하에, 뱀파이어로 부터 자신을 지키기 위해 뱀파이어를 죽이는 방법을 알아보겠습니다.

I'm going to talk about Killing Vampires today. Although they are beautiful, attractive creatures, they are too dangerous. So in order to protect yourself from them let's learn how to kill Vampires. (let's say Vampires exist first :))

1. 뱀파이어 다이어리 (The Vampire Diares)

뱀파이어 다이어리에 나오는 뱀파이어들을 만난다면 아마 죽일 마음이 사라질지도 모릅니다. 아주 매력적이고 멋진 모습으로 나오거든요. 하지만 겉모습에 속으시면 안됩니다. 사람의 생명을 아주 뭐 같이 아는 놈들이니까요. 뱀파이어를 죽이기 위해서는 먼저 마편초(Vervain)로 뱀파이어를 약하게 만든 후, 끼고 있는 반지를 빼고 태양을 쬐게 하면 됩니다. 그러면 불 타 죽습니다. 왜냐하면 뱀파이어는 원래 햇빛을 보면 타 죽는데, 여기 나오는 뱀파이어들은 마녀가 만들어준 마법의 반지를 끼고 낮에도 돌아다니기 때문에 낮에 반지를 빼게 하면 죽습니다. 뱀파이어를 죽일 수 있는 두 번째 방법은 심장을 파괴 시키는 것입니다. 하지만 두 번째 방법은 보통 사람에게는 힘들 것이므로 첫 번째 방법을 추천합니다. 

You may not feel like killing them when you bump into one of them for real, because they are so charming. But don't let them trick you. They don't respect human lives. To kill vampires, make them weak with Vervain, a lot of vervain, and take off their rings which protect vampires from the sun. Then they will burn. Another way to kill them is stabbing their hearts with a long stick. But this is not easy for ordinary people, so I recommend the first way.

2. 슈퍼내추럴 (Supernatural)

슈퍼내추럴에는 뱀파이어는 마법으로 탄생한 존재가 아닌, 또 다른 일종의 괴물이므로, 마편초를 뿌리거나 햇빛을 쬐게 하는 것은 통하지 않습니다. 이 뱀파이어들은 머리를 자르거나 심장을 찔러야 합니다. ㄷㄷㄷ 이건 못할 것 같습니다. 그냥 윈체스터 형제들에게 맡깁시다. 

Vampires in Supernatural are not spiritual or magical creatures but some kind of monsters. So there is no use pouring vervain on them or make them face the sun. You should chop their head or stab their hearts. I don't think I can do these things so I would let Winchesters handle them.

3. 트루 블러드 (True blood)

트루 블러드에 나오는 뱀파이어는 햇빛을 쬐면 죽습니다. 하지만 낮에는 절대로 돌아다니지 않기 때문에 밤에 은으로 만든 그물로 포획한 후 해 뜰 때까지 기다리면 됩니다. 다른 방법은 극혐 인데, 역시 심장을 찌르는 방법 입니다. 왜 극혐 이냐고 하면, 다른 곳에 출연하는 뱀파이어들은 심장을 찌르면 그냥 죽거나 미라화 되고 마는데, 트루 블러드에 나오는 뱀파이어들은 심장을 찌르면 피가 터지며 죽습니다. 비옷이 없으신 분들은 하지 않으시기를 권합니다.

The sun is fatal for Vampires in True Blood. But they don't go around during the sun is up, so you should catch them with silver chain at night and wait till the sun-rise. Another way to kill them is kind of disgusting so I wouldn't recommend it. It is to stab their hearts. In other worlds, when you stab Vampires, they will just die or be mummified, but in True blood world, they will explode with their blood all over you. If you don't carry a rain coat, I wouldn't suggest to do it.

4. 렛미인 (Let me in)

렛미인에 나오는 뱀파이어는 햇빛을 쬐면 죽습니다. 또는 집에 초대하지 않고 들어오게 만든 후 못나가게 하면 죽습니다. 하지만 집이 온통 피바다가 될 것이기 때문에, 첫번째 방법을 추천합니다.

If Vampires face the sun, they will burn in the movie Let Me In. Or you can make them enter your house without inviting them, and not allow them to leave your house, and they will die. But remember that blood will be all over your house when they die. So I recommend the first way.
