잘 사는 것과 잘 죽는 것은 하나이다.

다른 병들은 방비할 수 있지만, 죽음에 관하여는 우리 인간들은 성벽이 없는 성읍에 살고 있는 것과 같다.

죽음은 우리를 상관하지 않는다. 우리가 존재하는 한 죽음은 존재하지 않고, 죽음이 오면 우리는 더 이상 존재하지 않기 때문이다.
